John McDavid Lehman was born in Los Angeles…and has never left! After receiving a BA in Comparative Literature from The University of Southern California John continued working full time at RCA/BMG Records as an Artist & Repertoire consultant. Under the careful tutelage of former Motown Records veteran and RCA Vice President, the late Skip Miller, and John learned early on that through discipline, creative thought, and hard work all things are possible. “With Skip I learned that there is a time to speak but just as importantly there is a time one must remain quiet and simply listen.”

After Mr. Miller retired from RCA John decided to “slow things down” and take a break from the record industry. Inspired by both his mother and his grandmother, John followed their lead and entered the classroom as a teacher. “Being in the classroom furthered defined my sense of community and of course patience!” Also, John’s love of literature was reinvigorated and he began writing again vigorously.

 
While still working in the classroom John began to take on side marketing and branding projects thus starting The Lehman Group, Inc., a boutique branding and marketing house focusing on traditional and new media campaigns. In the fall of 2001 John began working for Junior Drake Handbags fulltime in their marketing department. Junior Drake a Los Angeles based handbag company with product sold internationally in over 800 boutiques and retail stores including Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and Macy’s. After two years John was promoted to Director of Branding and Marketing and oversaw all of their advertising, web development including almost 200 webisodes shot for their mid-tier brand Love, JD, photo campaigns, and showroom needs.

 
Finally, in the summer of ’08 John left Junior Drake and started The Royal Bank of McD, a branding house focusing on management and brand development. With The Royal Bank John is now able to incorperate all that he has learned in the past decade thus providing quite a unique service for his clients which results in an aggressive and focused brand recognition experience for the end user. “We are in the midst of very challenging times…times that we must learn to embrace and not ignore for this climate shall remain with us for quite awhile. ” With the Royal Bank John is now taking on clients with unique and special points of view. Brands that don’t necessarily fit into that perfect box yet still find a perfect pitch and have a voice that must be heard. “The Royal Bank gets to mix it up a tad more now. We represent artists, restaurants, fashion labels, boutiques, etc. We are interested in creating partnerships and developing strong working relationships between the client and the end user.” In 2010 John believes that we shall see a transition back into “the individual” and their place in the community. “The bubble has burst and folks are wanting more…they require more and The Royal Bank of McD is working feverishly to supply those needs!”

Zoe is an artist whose career began in his hometown of Los Angeles, CA, when he was eight years old. School plays, talent shows and other opportunities gave him the chance to develop and showcase his talents as an artist. A natural born leader, Zoe remembers being bused from one of the most distressed neighborhoods in Los Angeles, to the affluent Granada Hills High School.
